If you have difficulty sleeping, it may be a symptom of sleep apnea. Lots of people deal with this condition every day, and it is often a problem that is quite unpleasant to manage. But the good news is that there are effective treatments out there. Read this article to learn some basic information about recognizing and treating sleep apnea.

If you suffer from sleep apnea, you should use a Continuous Positive Airway Pressure machine while sleeping. This will help you treat your sleep apnea and get you on the path to having a full nights sleep. This machine uses either a face or nasal mask to pump air while you sleep.

If you have just been diagnosed with sleep apnea and prescribed a CPAP, join a CPAP support group. It can be quite difficult to get used to sleeping with a mask on your face every night. Sitting in a room full of other people going through the same thing can be very empowering. You can learn from others who have had the same issues you are having and made adjustments to make it work.

Improve your sleep apnea by slimming down a bit. Recent research showed dramatic improvements in overweight men who shed 25 pounds over a period of one year to reduce sleep apnea symptoms. In some cases, the weight loss resulted in a cure of sleep apnea where no further treatment of the condition was necessary.

People who do not have a partner sleeping with them may not know they suffer from sleep apnea. If you wake up with a dry or sore mouth, wake up out of breath, have morning headaches, insomnia, and/or go to the bathroom frequently during the night, you may have sleep apnea and should talk to a doctor.

Try your best to maintain a regular sleeping schedule. When your body gets into a customary sleeping cycle, you will find yourself getting a better night's sleep, and you will also be more relaxed. Several studies have shown that apnea episodes decrease when a person is not sleep deprived or stressed out.

Should you suffer from sleep apnea, keep a regular sleep schedule. Your condition is already messing with your regular sleep cycle every night. If you can get on a better scheducle you will help your symptoms. The adjustment that is most important is your sleep schedule.

You can reduce sleep apnea with exercises to strengthen throat muscles. Sleep apnea is often caused by the tissues in the throat, which can relax and collapse while you sleep. When your muscles strengthen, their chances of collapse and airway blockage go down.

If simple changes in your lifestyle, such as regular sleep hours and losing weight, have not eliminated your sleep apnea episodes, it is time to consult with a sleep specialist. The specific causes of your sleep apnea can be evaluated, and an individual treatment plan can be designed for you.

By reading through the great sleep apnea tips found in this article, you are ready to face your problem head on. While you may not be able to rid yourself of the problem completely, you will feel more confident and start working towards that all-important goal, a good night's sleep.

Saida and her office emanate warmth and peacefulness. Her manner is soothing and caring, and the massage was gentle and relaxing. As soon as I walked into the waiting room, I felt welcome and calm. It was a spiritually and physically enjoyable experience. I'm giving a massage as a birthday gift to a friend because I think it's a special treat.

I have been training with the DC Tri Club for years and was referred to Saida by another member. Saida has helped me perform at my optimal best. Her treatments are so physical that it feels she is taking my muscles apart, work on them, and put them back in my body. I have never experienced physical massage like hers before. It makes me constantly think about my positioning while I?m training.

I am a fitness instructor that has been diagnosed with osteoarthritis and hip replacement recommended after three consults and many physicians. I recently visited D.C for a conference and scheduled a massage with Saida. OMG! This woman is amazing and a true practitioner in every sense of the word. I am back in Florida and pain free. Words can?t really express the gratitude I feel for the therapeutic massage services Saida provided while I was in Washington D.C. I really wanted to relax and relieve tension because I lived in constant pain. I did not think it possible to have pain relief after one session. Her work in therapeutic massage is gifted and amazing. My second session was such a physical pain reliever that it was a bit emotional for me. I am truly grateful. Saida is amazing and has a special gift of being in tune with her clients needs. I am booking a flight to return to have more sessions with Saida at Hands Down Body Therapy. The atmosphere is peaceful and the healing begins at the front door. I have tried every type of massage therapy over the years with those that were touted to be ?the best in the industry?. Hands down, this is the best massage I have experienced. I am internally grateful for the work that Saida does. She makes the world a better place with each client she serves. I know because I am better. I eagerly await my next sessions......AMAZING!!!!

I am a college football player and I have been seeing Saida for a year now. I never knew a Sports Massage could be like this. She found areas on me that I thought were, ok, I thought and she made them better. Forget Deep Tissue Massage, I need whatever " magic"she can give me. I'm still in shock at how flexible, relaxed, looser I feel and how much harder I can play. Plus I haven't had any injuries either. I have found my Therapist...for life!

I have been seeing Saida for 3 months now for muscle tension due to Migraines. It usually results in stiff shoulders, tight neck and TMJ. She has been doing focused work on those areas and showed me some techniques I can do at home to assist in the work that we have done in our sessions. My head, neck, and shoulders feel wonderful. I cannot believe what a difference Therapeutic Massage Therapy has done for my conditions. Saida you are wonderful. Thank you so much and I cannot wait to see you next week!

Saida takes her time and gives you assistance in getting all the tension out. I never knew my body could feel so great with out any muscle pain. I came in for a frozen shoulder. I couldn't get my arms half way above my head. Now after 3 sessions, I am able to wash my hair, reach for items on a top shelf, and drive a car comfortably. I totally recommend you having a session at Hands Down Body Therapy.

Thank you Ms Cunningham

I highly recommend Saida; she is excellent at what she does. I have received several massages from her, and have found them to be extremely relaxing and stimulating. She applies the right amount of pressure to tensed areas - appropriately rubbing and kneading - while not breaking from her natural rhythem. Each motion is professionally and carefully caluclated. Saida is a true professional, and after one visit, you will agree. - As a side note, the atmosphere in her office is so peaceful and calming that you may just want to linger in the lounge area after your service and enjoy refreshments she makes available to her clients.
